Successfully operating a Danish contemporary women's wear brand in the US market.
Masai Clothing was a successful Danish brand with over 60% market share in Scandinavian and a growing UK business. The company had successfully broken into the US market with several department store retailers. Although the brand was well received and had initial success, the company struggled to operate the US business due to lack of understanding of the market and no team on the ground to execute.
By integrating with the Copenhagen HQ to understand the operation and capabilities of the business, and then building an operating process that worked with the DK operation and the requirements of the US market, we were able to optimize the business and build out a small team in the US to work with customers on local time zones and the ability to understand the domestic business needs and communication.

- Hiring additional independent sales people to service accounts locally and expand the brick and mortar business.
- Enhancing brand recognition by building out the US e-commerce platform and a social media strategy complimented by a digital marketing strategy that facilitated a destination for learning and exploring for consumers new to the brand.
- Opening a 3PL in the north east to service the US customer base also created operational efficiencies and increased profit margins.
- Grew the US market to 10% of the company's total revenue and was the number one performer in profitability and store count in a single region after the implication of our US focused approach.
